Bruce Forsyth's favourite joke

British people will certainly know the name of Bruce Forsyth, an all-round entertainer who died last August at the age of 89.
He was renowned for telling truly terrible jokes, but this one was said to be his favourite and I don't reckon that it's too awful!
A man comes homes and tells his strait-laced wife that he has heard that the milkman has slept with every woman on the street, bar one.
To which his wife replies: "I bet it's that stuck-up cow at Number 54".

I saw Forsyth on TV and he had that humor particular to you Brits.

@JohnRoberts Tony Hancock was a much-missed comic genius of blessed memory! The two Ernies? Do you mean the Two Ronnies? Or maybe Morecambe and Wise, the latter of whom was Ernie?
