Dipping deep fried foods in dipping sauces is a perfect combination. But one needs to be careful when one eats at restaurants. I had a bad experience. We ordered for french fries and the waiter picked up a container of dipping sauce from another table and placed it before us. The fingers of all and sundry go in there and that very thought put me off. I vouched never again to order for anything deep fried in restaurants.

That is disgusting, I would have pushed it away or waited for another waitress and asked for a new dipping sauce. They are not even supposed to do that, he must have been too lazy to walk to the back for a fresh one.

Where is the guarantee that what he brings from elsewhere is not a used dipper?

@cintol It is normally a common dip that is left on the table and not brought with one's order. I have noticed that.

@allknowing It should come out of the kitchen on the tray with your meal. Thats how you know it is fresh

Really! How did you know that it's from another table? Did you see it? What did you do to correct the waiter?

That would be illegal here and the Health Department would close that restaurant down in to seconds. How gross!!!!

That is bad service when a waiter does not get you the right dipping sauce for your meals.

I can understand why you would never order deep fried again. I am glad it did not turn you off to going to restaurants

It is just that I saw it but I am sure you know even in 5 star hotels things that happen could make a customer not go there again if they come to know about them
