Repeat Posts.

This morning when I threw open my windows at the crack of dawn, the smell of bacon or other meat frying wafted in with the crisp morning air. I couldn't help but smile - someone was preparing a special breakfast to start their day.
Even though I am not a meat eater or indulge in fried fare - that scent gave me a happy and hungry feeling. Then the thought came to mind - here is a topic to write about - scents or things that make us smile in the morning. However, while having my breakfast I remembered that I had written a similar post some time ago - so I had to shelve that idea.
When one has written hundreds of posts, it is possible to repeat without being aware of it at the time. Has that ever happened to you? I wonder if it is against the guidelines.

Breakfast or lunch posts are different from what I mean. I mean the kind of relationships and life posts that I write about - for example - if last month I wrote about younger women/ older men - I won't want to repeat that topic shortly after. Some other person could write about it, but not me.3 people like this

I know that I am guilty of repeating topics

@mydanods I wasn't talking about when someone else writes on the same topic you wrote about - that is okay - but I think the member should wait at least 12 or 24 hours before posting something on the same topic - unless it happened by chance and they didn't actually see the first post. Anyway, What I am talking about here is me repeating my posts.

my mother swears the same with leftovers, especially if cooked in coconut milk.

I don't think it is against the guidelines as long as it is tackled from a new perspective.

It's quite possible - especially if someone has written for other sites as well (hard to keep track, especially for someone like me who doesn't keep track!). A "similar" post is probably ok . . . but an exact word for word post would not.

I don't see how it would or could be against the rules, when people write about dinner or breakfast or whatever day after day. I am guilty of this as much as the next person.
