Need laughing gas for the dentist

I had a lot of dental work performed lately including a new crown. I survived last Thursday's cleaning and checkup without further damage. My mouth has endured enough punishment to last awhile not mention the pain inflicted on the pocketbook. I know several other members at myLot had recent dental visits. What can you do? You have to take care of teeth and it costs plenty. Perhaps learning some lessons from Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) can help soothe those dental headaches.
Mr. Bean goes to the dentist. He causes trouble playing with the vacuum and accidentally injects the dentist! Stay tuned, click here: https://www.youtube.com...

@johnroberts I’ve discovered that it’s cheaper if you forgo the luxury of anaesthetic.

@xFiacre but anaesthetic , like laughing gas is really needed for pain. I really don't know how people survived in the old days without pain killers.

It's like Robert Klein said on his album New Teeth, "You PAY him to HURT YOU!" That's pretty much the story of going to any doctor, isn't it: "you're going to do a what?? And it's going to cost me how much????"

Just reading the word "dentist" can put me into a catatonic state. Eek.

My dentist's office didn't even offer laughing gas or anything besides novocaine. I could have used some for sure!

This is a place I really hate going because of the SMELL there, when we have to wash from time to time our mouth.
NO :)

I will visit the dentist this month. And I think I would need to endure the pain as well.

John, it is hard. Not one of my favorite things going to the dentist. I remember when I was growing up the dentist I had kept telling me my teeth were fine while they were rotting away and who knows what was really going inside my mouth. I grew up and found out he was wrong. I had paradontry or whatever you call it. Now, because had my front teeth fixed and all the pain suffered I make sure I take care of my teeth now.
