Hopefully I will be able to capture a picture of the table once I have started working on it. But currently the old chunky wood table that has been in our living room since before we moved in here is sitting outside waiting for me to vacuum it out. So that is what I am about to do, go vacuum it out and get it ready for sanding and the painting. I am going to paint the base of it distressed and white, and then do some sort of cover to the top. Probably with contact paper or something. So that way if the garden stuff gets on it, it doesn't ruin it.

How long will it take you to do all this work?

I'm doing it in chucnks. I worked on it for about thirty minutes earlier, and will do some more tomorrow. Probably will have it done next week.

You prefer paint over varnish or laquer?

For this project yes. I want it to match the window garden shelf that we have already made.
