Have You Ever Seen A White Owl?

I am staying on a farm and since my job involves attending the horses at any time of the day. 
As I mentioned more than 90% of ‘Foaling’ that is deliveries in horses they take place during night time and there are many other cases which are needed to be attended during night.
So I often get to hear the hooting of owls from the big trees we have on the farm. One night out of curiosity I tried to locate where from the call was coming! I could locate a White Owl sitting on one of the nearer branches of the tree.
They are medium built birds like a parrot and are quite swift too!
I know it is not easy to locate an Owl as they are mostly nocturnal and they are found in wild places.
Have you ever seen a white Owl? Do you believe in superstition attached with sighting an Owl?

Thanks to know that yiu have seen owls! Yes, white owls are beautiful and very active too! There are many superstitions attached to owls , I am happy that you don't know anything about them as they bare after all superstitions! Thanks dear friend @LadyDuck! God bless!

I have not seen a white owl. Many years ago I caught an owl which was sitting in a banana tree in day time. I don't know how it came there in day time. Out of curiosity I took the bird to home, My mother scolded me for catching the bird (though it showed no resistance when I approached it). She told me it is not good to take that kind of birds, reason still I do not know.
May I know the superstitions attached with Owls?

That is beautiful, I have not seen a white owl but I guess albanism occurs throughout the animal kingdom. What is your superstition there? Over here an owl sound at night ( obviously because they are nocturnal) is a bad omen but I don't believe any of them.

Yes, albinism is as common in animals as it is in human beings ! But white owl is not a albino, its eyes have black pigment so it is a normal white owl!
Yes, some people believe that owls are wise and seeing them makes one wiser, while others believe that hooting of owls brings bad luck to the babies living in that locality!
