Spring and summer projects to do list

Every spring we make a list of projects needing done. Some are a carry over from the previous year things that did not get done so they go to the top of the list plus we have annual things we have to do as well. Like getting in firewood, vehicle maintenance and gardening. Then there are other things that come up as well. Some things take a few hours or a day or two others might take a week or more. Some depend on finances available and or help from other people. We usually get most things done but often have 3-4 things that might carry over. We can plan things but sometimes emergencies take priority over the general to do list as well. Like last year our water well pump went out and it was a two week project getting a new in put in plus cost us finances we had allocated for other things so we had to put them off another year. So this year hope we get those done plus hope to get a week or two to visit some friends and family long over due. Do you have a to do list for spring and summer?

This spring and summer I'll have to repaint my back deck, as the paint on it is starting to chip.

That sounds like a big project. We have to do that every year or two as well.

I don't usually have plans in advance. I do it on a weekly basis as my short-term goals.

Oh yeah. Warmer weather brings mowing weeds chores and digging out the gardens and digging in the compost etc. Finally comes planting.

It sure does and we have other things beyond getting our garden ready. We still have snow about 3 inches left but melting off fast
