@augusta123 The brain has imaginative ways of expressing anxieties and fears, my dear. We really don't understand how the brain works.

Pain can bring nightmares. Distress, anxiety, worry, and uncertainty. If anything emotional is bugging you, it can trigger nightmares. I've had lots for many reasons. Pain was the biggest though. The more it hurt, the more I'd get.
I was crucified in a dream once... now that hurt! lol
