The very first time I've read about this is from my game "The sims 2" and every time I make my sims cook this lunch, it often got me curious. It finally tried it today after days of cooking moringa omelette.
I realized that it takes a lot of cheese when I grilled the bread, good thing I was using a wheat bread.
Wheat bread doesn't really taste that good unless I add egg and cheese with moringa powder on my next breakfast.
I wonder myself now why I never made grilled cheese

Looks delicious.Never made a sandwich with wheat bread though it is supposed to be more healthy than white bread.

@Letranknight2015 Yes. :) Tomato soup pairs delicious with grilled cheese sandwich! But yep the sandwich itself first, is yummy.

We use a golden wheat bread for ours and serve it with tomato soup. No need for a spoon, just use the sandwich to dip in the soup. Yummy!@Letranknight2015 (52665)

Hello @yukimori Never heard of a Golden Wheat Bread before, must be a brand, I bought the Gardenia one. Lol not sure if I would add tomato soup on it though

@Letranknight2015 It's a type, actually. The brand we usually use is Sara Lee, because they're one of the few available here that don't contain high fructose corn syrup. (For some reason, breads sold in the US are often way sweeter than breads sold elsewhere in the world.)

@Letranknight2015 you have to grill it with the cheese in between the two slices of bread and sprinkle with ground pepper .. You try it.. really yummy! ..

I butter one side of each piece of bread very well so the entire surface is covered that makes it cook better. Then I use two pieces of sliced cheese between the bread. Wheat bread doesn't taste very good with grilled cheese but dipping it in tomato soup can make it yummy.
