Laundry to the Moon

Laundry to the moon,
Will I ever be done?
It looks like there's enough dirty clothes
To weigh over a ton.
Why did I accumulate this?
Laziness, I guess,
But now I'm surrounded
By an enormous mess.
Where shall I begin?
I haven't got a clue.
Should I separate the old and worn
From the shiny and new?
Should I launder the whites first
Or go for the colored clothes?
I guess I'll just start with
The underwear and hose.
Laundry to the moon,
An unfortunate affair.
Got to clean them now
Before I pass out from smelly air.

I do my colored clothes first then my whites. I only do laundry once a week since it's just 2 of us here.
