Diary Saturday 17th March 2018
I completed a draft of a feature for a book on mental health issues from my personal experiences for a university publication I’m helping with and sent it to the editor.
Much of the rest of the day, and indeed Sunday, was spent worrying that a mandatory interview I have to go to in the next few week clashes with a long weekend break I have coming up over Easter. The exact date of the appointment has not yet been given to me and if it clashes I’ll be expected to travel to it in mid-holiday or finish my holiday a day or more early.
Diary Sunday 18th March 2018
I went to the shops to restock on a few essential food stuffs. I also travelled to the business site I have to attend on the course I have to do, as mentioned above, as I wanted to be sure of its location before going there early tomorrow. It’s a twenty minute walk from the city centre but I found it easily enough.
I remembered to check mail delivered on Saturday, and one letter came from the council demanding council tax payments way in excess of what I know I should pay them. Knowing for sure this was sent in error, I e-mailed the council to ask for it to be amended.
The rest of the day was uneventful.
Diary Monday 19th March 2018
A busy day, starting with my first of six possible training days in CCTV work. Three of which involve heavy maths and English exam papers.
The staff were genuinely lovely and I found out quickly the dreaded date for the second compulsory exam day, which is one day after my return from my Easter break in Harrogate. I was very relieved.
I got through today’s long winded tests, and filled in course enrolment form. I’d been warned to expect all this to take four hours. It took just two.
In the afternoon, I was attending the first of this year’ One In Four Mental Health themed movie festival, now in its twelfth year (the third supported by me). This was just an inaugural gathering and I had expected to be late due to the course in the morning, but in finishing early, I was to attend the whole film festival launch. My main task at present I watching and reviewing movies for possible inclusion in the festival. Eight screenings needed in all.
Back home I received a message from the council apologizing to me profusely for sending me the wrong bill, and assuring me that the corrected one I already on route. They had already detected the problem before I did. They included the corrected information in the apology e-mail and a postal copy is already winging its way towards me.
So, a day bringing satisfactory to two big worries that haunted me for the preceding days.
I now have a hopefully clear run towards the convention in about ten days time.
Happy happy happy.

So glad to know you feel relief and happiness.
And that blinking council..such fools but at least they caught it and apologized.
I hope that interview goes okay when it comes about.
Good that mental health draft is to the editor too. Nice to have it finished.
So nice to review the films too.
