How long will you stay here?

I was replying to a comment this morning to a friend who says he feels he may be burning out on MyLot, in other words he feels differently about the site and no longer visits as often as he did.
I guess there's going to be a time for all of us when we feel it's time to leave, nothing lasts forever, and in the light of two regular members saying they are packing their bags it made me wonder if anyone else is planning to leave.
I have flitted back and forth for years and never say when I go because I know I will probably come back. Sometimes I haven't even decided I will leave, it just happens and I forget to visit.
It made me wonder, how long do you think you will stay and have you ever felt like leaving? Have you left and then changed your mind?

I do the same as you, I disappear for weeks or months at a time and then come back. Usually I go because my Internet connection is unreliable, or because I've got a new job or my life has changed significantly, then I come back and talk about it.
I never disappear on purpose and I can't see myself ever leaving for good, although I did go for a long time when mylot stopped paying and turned into twitter. I joined when I was 17 and I'm now 28 so this site has been with me as I've grown up.

@LilyBeBack I never mean to leave, I just get out of the habit of coming here. I joined 7 years ago but have spent very little time here. I've only ever had one $5 payment but I think I will make $10 this month

I have the odd day where I make more than usual but mostly it takes me a couple of months to get to $5
It's much easier to earn here now than it used to be

i left briefly when mylot was owned by other people tho i didn't delete my profile..
it wasn't so much that they didn't pay,i hated that twitter style format they were using.

I was extremely active in mylot when I first joined here but got burned out as well. So I rested fo ra couple of months then came back and became active again. Then I went to another country and rarely visited mylot. I stayed there for 6 months and eventually lost connection with mylot. I came back again when some old mylot friends told me they are back in mylot too. For about a year I was active then got lost again. I think I only came back late last year.

@sprite1950 I think I'll stay in mylot and will never ever delete my account for as long as it exists. I can only take a break, but never really be gone.

@toniganzon I think that's best because we can change our minds according to what's happening in our lives at the time. I rarely delete an account unless I'm annoyed with the site for some reason.

I'm like this with most sites I belong to. I don't seem to have any staying power although I belong to a forum where I have been for 2 1/2 years. It requires little effort so sometimes I just make a couple of posts a day. It's a very slow earner so the money isn't really that big a deal to me.

I have been thinking about leaving My Lot lately. But, not because of certain people here, I just need to get other things done, also. Yet there are members I've grown to care about, like family. That makes it hard to let go of:(

I actually signed up I think it was like 10 years ago but I did a little and then left and didn't come back til this year. I don't plan on it again thou. Things do change and sometimes things get busy but I have made many friends here, that I have came to care about. So I don't see myself leaving for good not in the near future at least.

@allknowing Some can be very rude here that's for sure but I won't let that chase me off. Most of the time people are fine but you always get the odd one or two. I just try to keep away from them.

@Bluedoll I think burn out comes and goes. Sometimes the routine gets too much (like a job in the real world) but if you can stick it out things get better again.

well, my friend said she didn't even get money here. but for me I had collected several times already. especially during the time when it has this search engine where we can also earn money... I love that so much I wish it will be returned here.

Not planning to leave, but I must say that Mylot is not as good as it used to be.
We need the administration to do something about this : make it more interesting.

When I first joined almost two years ago I left and do not remember what the reason was but then came back. i really like it here and am not planning on going anywhere. For me every little bit of money helps. I am sorry they are leaving but people have to do what is best for them. You also have to do what is best for you. I hope you decide to stay but that is up to you.

@Hannihar I have no plans to leave at the moment. People say that MyLot is a slow paying site but I have done well this month and there are sites that are far slower. I've made some new friends this time round too which is nice.

I'm not here half as much as I used to be. I've left the site for a few weeks in the past, and come back refreshed. It's not so easy to come up with new topics to write about now I've been here for 2 and a half years, but I pop in most days. I'm here for the people more than anything, I've got a lot of friends here.
