Have you ever worked as an extra on a movie set? I did about 20 years ago on the Gold Coast in Queensland. It was heaps of fun, you got to "play dressups" and get paid (very well paid!) for it. They were long days, but much of the day was spent just standing around waiting for them to finish shooting different scenes. Lunch was provided - great food and plenty of it. If you ever get a chance to do this, it's an experience I really recommend.

It must have been pretty cool to work as an extra. I've never done it, but maybe some day. We'll see.

I've studied acting and spent much time as background actor before I got into theatre. :-)

Must have been fun. I know of a couple of my friends who did that in Toronto years ago.

Years ago, our brass band featured in a TV commercial for a large store. Well, 'featured' is the wrong word as we were on the screen for about 3 seconds and you couldn't pick out any individuals. I had it on a video and just watched it again a night or two ago but now it's going out - part of my declutter
