I turned on the TV and Rosemary´s baby was beginning. I had seen it decades ago and the only thing I remembered was that it was probably one of the best terror movies I had seen.
But I was not prepared now to be afraid of watching it alone in my house even knowing what it was about and that it was just a movie.
I had to turn off the TV. Ol´ fraidy cat that I have become! And to all of you who love terror movies, don´t miss it. This film is like a good wine: it got better with age.

I loved terror movies if they were good when I went to watch them with my husband. Now that I live alone, I don´t like them.

I don´t watch bad terror movies. But this one is the best. I think we have to watch it in company of others though.

@marguicha I would agree.
Silly me decided to rewatch it a couple of years ago, not thinking about how it was a terrible choice to watch while pregnant.

What I could see of it before deciding that I was not going to watch it alone now was still very good. Mia Farrow plays a wonderful role. And even her sweet voice is creepy because it is so innocent. After watching her for about 15 minutes, I decided the movie hadn´t lost anything with time and that I would watch it again, but with company

@LadyDuck I wholly agree with you. In each genre, the best movies are all classics. There are some movies I have seen many times over the years and they are still perfect. At Films&arts channel they often have classic movies some of which are better than new.

@marguicha It is still a beautiful movie. The more I watch old movies, the more I realize that the plots were better in the past. Now it's only a lot of special effects, but very poor stories.

It is psychological terror and it is the best of its kind for my taste. But I found out that now I cannot watch it alone.

Have not seen this one in forever, and Yes, if I decide to ever watch it again, it would have to be with my husband up watching it with me.

"Rosemary's Baby" was the first scary movie I saw when I was younger. (Well, other than Stephen King's "IT," which was a TV miniseries.) My best friend and I watched it when I slept over at her house once when we were 11, and it was very creepy.

I think that grown ups find this creepier because it is psychological terror.

When I watched it decades ago, I decided that it was the best in its genre. I think that it hasn´t aged.
