On this grey afternoon, I'm so glad it wasn't really raining like it was supposed to. Just a light drizzle, in which I didn't mind one bit. And I did love how it was in the 50s this afternoon and didn't feel too cold after all.
For my swim lesson in the lap pool, I've warmed up with the regular backstroke and then with the elementary backstroke. Then it was back to work with the freestyle and the front crawl with the kickboard. For the first four laps, Paige made me go the distance by moving the cones around at different spots. Then she wanted me to go across the pool without the cones, both ways. And I did it, though my freestyle and front crawl is getting better and not there yet.
Then I've wrapped up my lesson to cool down with the regular and elementary backstrokes. Paige didn't mention what I'm going to be doing on Thursday's lesson before I go on break for 2 weeks. I plan to be bac poolside, either on 4/12 or 4/16.
For my practice laps, if the leisure lanes aren't taken, I plan to do the freestyle with front crawl and breast stroke tomorrow morning. Then I'll do the backstrokes on Friday morning as well. No new texts from Rachael lately.

At least you are learning how to swim. I wasted my chance a while ago so you are very lucky.

Yeah, working my butt off too in the pool. It's never too late to swim.
