The Easter Bunny came and left us eggs.

The last day of school was a lovely one ....I went around our school playground and play area hiding easter eggs for the children to find on our Easter egg hunt. Whilst I was doing this a colleague was reading a story so that the children did not notice I was missing and so that they were facing away from the windows and could not see me. Then we told the children that I had seen the Easter bunny outside and wondered what he could have been doing ! We explained that the Easter bunny brings Easter eggs and asked if the children wanted to go outside and see if he had left any eggs for us.... Of course they said yes ... There was an egg for each children ( the tricky part was remembering where I had hidden them all so that I could point the children in the right direction if they didn't manage to find an egg themselves.) Anyway after just a few minutes all the eggs were found ...and then eaten. What a lovely activity for the children.
