we have a local celebrity who loves saying and writing 'love, love, love' (kris aquino) so i borrowed it for my title.
the other day at the mall i saw again the poster at the houseware section that said,
"do what you love, love what you do."
yesterday, as i was reading posts here, another 'love saying' crossed my mind,
"if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with."
all this love, love, love reminded me of an nice old song i liked,
"love is all around" by the UK band Wet, Wet, Wet.
it was the soundtrack of the hit movie Four Weddings and a Funeral back in 1994, starring hugh grant and andie macdowell.
as i searched for the video on youtube to link to this post so you can enjoy listening to it, i was surprised to learn the song was much older than that.
wikipedia says Love is All Around was originally recorded by another English band, The Troggs, and first released in October 1967.
the american band REM did cover and live versions of it in 1991, which sounded closer to the original version.

So you are behind the word 'love' and its followers.
I too read a lot recently, it also says l'defeat every one with love and love to your enemy's as well'....
Very beautiful to read but I don't know how can we implement in life or how many people can follow the law.

i guess it's similar to 'love conquers all' but i think it's really hard to 'love your enemies'

Wet Wet Wet's Love is All Around was No. 1 in the British charts for months, 15 weeks in all. It was one of the all time top selling love ballads. Just going to play it again.
