Do you like prunes?
Oh please tell me why.
I like them so much
That I wear them on my tie.
Does that sound silly?
Well it's certainly in style.
Wear prunes for eye rings
And stay for awhile.
Prunes are delicious
With gin and tea.
Prunes are fantastic
With honey from a bee.
Wear a prune as a necklace.
Wear a prune around your legs.
Just don't mix them
With a batch of scrambled eggs.
Prunes are nutritious.
Eat several a day.
And make your constipation
Go far, far away.

I never tried prunes . I will try to eat , it seems really nutritious the way you described it.

I hate prunes although I do like raisins. My grandfather had them every day for breakfast and I just hated how they looked. Kids tend to eat with their eyes and I guess the image of prunes registered don't try in my brain.
