Mental Institution With Ghostly Spirits

The Fairfield Hills Hospital is located in Newtown, Connecticut. It used to be one of the largest mental institutions in Connecticut for 65 years. There were over 4,000 patients and it closed its doors in 1995. You know hospitals spook me enough but mental institutions send shiver up and down my spine. Being so sensitive to the world beyond I do not think I could ever enter such a haunted facility. People who live in the area walk their dogs or jog through the trails here and have seen figures passing by the windows, nurses looking down from the upper floors and other kinds of paranormal activity. What is even more frightening is that down below the hospital are tunnels that were used to move patients and equipment during the cold months. No one has ever heard of anyone who has gone down into the tunnels but then again perhaps someone has and they never came back up. In 2009 the tunnels were finally filled in and some of the buildings renovated and now used for commercial purposes. There are also sports fields on the property. However, being on the property you might just be followed around by spirits unseen or perhaps they have gone away, but who knows. What do you think? If you care to take a look here is a video taken of what was the inside of this institution.
Turn your volume up. The banging is at the end. This is the second time we have heard banging during our trip to Fairfield Hills. As you can see at the end w...

I had seen ghosts and they are not as scary as horror movies. They will leave you alone if you ignore them.

I would stay out of the tunnels. If not maintained, they may have fallen in disrepair and could be dangerous. I have heard of haunted places but don't know how much is real and how much imagined.

The thing is that I am susceptive to the world beyond so I would pick up actual hauntings but those who are not might not even see anything @akalinus guess it all depends on how strong the spirit.
