Last February I was rushed to the Emergency room due to severe lower back pain while I am getting dress going to church. I do not want to feel the pain again and hoping it will happen to me again. Anyway, last March I was diagnosed with a slipped disc after undergoing MRI. The Orthopedia doctor suggested me two options surgery or therapy. I decided not to do the surgery and I choose to undergo physical therapy hoping it will help to correct my condition. Physical therapy is more convenient than surgery, also surgery is very expensive even though I have an HMO.
Tomorrow is my 5th session on my physical therapy and so far my condition is improving. Hoping everything will be fine after my therapy.
Have a nice day!

"I opted the surgery and hoping physical therapy will help to correct my condition.". Sorry, but I do not understand.

I have two badly injured shoulders. I did acupuntture, physical therapy, reflexology and cordizone shots but nothing really helped me so the only thing would be surgery and that is something I never want to do.

I know of three people that have slipped disc. And they all decided not to get surgery at all. They all went through therapy and they are doing well now.
