Have you ever been so involved in a book that you feel as though you could walk right into it? Have you been so involved in the drama that you feel you could step in and join the character?
The feeling of knowing a character or set or characters personally is the aim or goal of many writers. For some of us it is not enough for us to be able to understand, believe in, and feel the emotions of our characters, we want the reader to feel the same way.
We want to draw a person into the story and have them feel the pain, the happiness, the agony of the characters involvement.
We want them to love them, hate them, care what they are doing and how they are feeling.
We want them totally involved.
As a writer this is what I want for my readers.
What do you want from a book when you are reading it?

whenever I like a book, I always see myself being one with the character. That's the time when I couldn't let go of the book and just have to finish it.
