We converted it a few years ago but now we need to sell it. It's a shame really as it is very comfortable.

It is certainly big which is another reason we are selling it.

@JudyEv At least you can continue to work inside the caravan. It is annoying when you plan to do something and what you waited for is not delivered.

Vince has gone in to get adhesive and some fittings so we can go on with finishing the cupboard in the caravan. No doubt the wardrobes will arrive eventually.

@LadyDuck That's true. We've now finished the cupboard apart from installing it and we have put in two panels of the new ceiling.

It is a big improvement on all plain white.

It would be ideal for an extended trip as there is so much room in it.

I just hope the extra expense helps sell it.

We've need to wear our black singlets and say 'copy, copy' on the two-way!

@allen0187 Oh yes, it goes much, much faster now! Actually we need to sell it and the stripe just makes it look a lot smarter. Red seemed the obvious choice.

It is much 'cooler' now with its big red stripe.

@JudyEv The only place where you could get a free license was at the army, but you needed to be in the good regiment for that, and they were selecting the drivers. They had realized that people with college degrees had less accidents than people without college degrees, so they were the only ones allowed to drive trucks, and it was of thin use for them after the army. My brother drove trucks during all his military service (he realized that to be on the roads was more cool than to be in his barrack, and was volunteering for any far travel. At the end he was the driver having done the more kms in his regiment and they gave him a medal for that) and has still a truck driving license, although he has probably not rented one since 20 years. They are more cool for pensioners in Australia than in France. Here we had law proposals to put a medical examination every year for cars after 75, or even to forbid to people to drive a car after 80. It will be done soon or later.

You need a truck licence and it has what's called a crash gearbox so you have to double declutch whenever you change gear. Not sure what the equivalent French terms are.

@topffer We got lost in a town north of Koblenz in 2015 and by the time we found our way out of the town Vince's knee was playing up from all the 'double debrayage' he'd had to do. Vince had to have a medical check every few years too but now he signs a form to say nothing's changed. And licences are free for pensioners - so there are some benefits to being old! .

@JudyEv Judy, that streak really adds to it. I agree an all white bus would not be fun to look at, but, the streak that was added is really nice to stare at and adds to it.

We think so too. It is a false idea but that's okay.
