The Day From Heck, Part Two

If the window issue wasn't enough (see part one), Monday finished being Monday on a Monday note. I had computer problems. Luckily, I don't do Windows (see what I did there?) or I'd have two window issues. The bad news is I was on the phone for ninety minutes to an Apple tech, getting the issue resolved. The good news is I was on the phone for ninety minutes to an Apple tech, getting the issue resolved. Try calling Microsoft and getting your problem fixed. Yeah, a Mac is expensive, but between the free software (Microsoft wants how much for their Office products that are free with Macs????) and the free technical support, it's paid for the difference. Many times over. Plus, no blue screen of death. And no annoying Windows update. I'm sorry, I'm gloating and bragging. It was frustrating and not the way I wanted to spend Monday evening, but we got it fixed. That's the best thing of all. I had my quota of bad Mondays for the year yesterday. Here's that Mark Chesnutt song I referenced in with the first part:
Music video by Mark Chesnutt performing It Sure Is Monday. (C) 1993 UMG Recordings, Inc.

I guess it's what you're used to. I have Windows at work, and it's so annoying in contrast to how quickly and flawlessly things work at home.

Lori Moore & I had lunch together. It was much better. (Except for the poor waitress who waited on us. )

@FourWalls I've read about your dastardly plans for JJ and Scar.

@JudyEv -- no, they're dastardly plans for the rest of the world! Scar is our boss, because cats rule.

Glad you got all that cleared up. In the first part I thought you meant a window window. Anyway glad you got it just right. I will look back at your first one.

No problem with Windows, the OS, except at work, because I don't have it anymore. Window, the thing in the wall, however, is another story.....

I have learned that Windows stink and Mac may cost more but far better service.

What's the saying, you get what you pay for. The Apple Store has free classes for all of the products, and as I said, 90 minutes (that was all work time, too, not 85 minutes on hold and "sorry, we can't help you, let me transfer you to someone who can") of tech support. I still have my old Windows 7 PC at home, but I haven't turned it on in ages. Why bother.

If I could afford it, I'd definitely get an Apple.
