My daughter tossed a gift whilst I was lying on the bed, warding the afternoon heat. It was a pretty gift and I wondered what it was. Shook the box and I was at once sure it is no fruit cake nor any food stuff.
Untying the green ribbon made me think of kind people who passionately wrap beautiful gifts. As a child, I did dream of having my own gift boutique. The dream got lost somewhere in adolescence when life was presented in a kaleidoscope.
Well, the contents of the gift were little beauty products: lip balm, lip scrub and a hand/foot cream. The beauty products are from Human Nature, a Philippine beauty company that use all natural ingredients in their products. In other words, the beauty products are all organic and thereby safe to use on one's face and body.
This is not an advertisement. I just want the ladies and the men out there to know that prettifying can be safe with natural products.

I have two daughters, both professionals now. When my classmates and I meet in mini reunions, we always lay our cards on the table. They do not ask me any more to do that. They know already I have two of the best aces.

I hope to receive gifts like this also hehehe!!! Yes you are right , prettyfying can be safe with natural products.. I also prefer use organic soap , organic products.. etc. , because it is safe.

Actually, with age comes the silver strands. Someone told me that gugo and coconut oil retains the blackness of the hair. So, I think I am pursuing the natural beauty regimen soon. Always safe and sure with organic.

Yup. The naughty me though believes my lips do not need scrubbing. The hands need the cream badly. If only there was more cologne or perfume, the big meemow (that's how she calls me) will be merrier.

Yup. Yup. My daughter brings home stuff from places she's been, like the pili nuts from the Bicol Region, or this beautifier from Human Nature. She's travels a lot, Washington DC and Massachusetts this summer. Told her not to burden her self with souvenirs nor gifts for us. Too heavy a load. Sigh, I know she will bring home gifts again, she just bought an extra American Tourister. Spinner.

Yup, my daughter is a giver, too. She often enough leaves White Cotton or Jasmine sprays for me and her sister. Lately, she left a Musk Oil, my favorite.

Oh no. She is a toughie. The intense one. No nonsense, no trifles. She deals with projects where even fools do not rush in. She's heading down south again, for the Marawi disaster. Sigh.
But she could be sweet when she is unaware and relaxed. The unguarded moments. Very rare, though. As is with my younger daughter. I suppose the attitude runs in the blood.
