I'm sure most of you didn't knew it !.
Pill & Tablet:
A pill is round and oval capsule while a tablet is flat and circular. Pill is more general term!.
Emoji & Emoticon:
Emojis are the actual picture while emoticons are the typographical display of facial expression!.
Turtle & Tortoise:
The basic one is that Tortoise dwell on land while turtle live in water!..
Alligator & Crocodile:
Alligators have wider, U-shaped snouts, while crocodile front ends are more pointed and V-shaped.
Great Britain & United Kingdom:
Great britain contains England, Scotland and Wales while United kingdom contains Northern Ireland along with Great Britain.

I think your image of the pill is wrong. That is a capsule. A pill is smaller than a tablet and it has no edge.
