How can I say no for the event?

A kid handled me this along with his classmates and teacher. They are going to have a charity food sales. They are going to do everything on their own. How can I not be supportive of them? Definitely I will show up and buy something.

That is really cool, I love when kids do things like this and love the handmade announcement for it. So important to teach kids about the gift of caring

I get that too, but I can only buy what I can afford. Where I live, people drop by for donations via some kind of product, but I don't have money all the time, so I explain, sorry no money, they understand, thank me and leave.
