Well, no work for me tomorrow. I was going into the nap room, it was dark, and I thought I felt myself step on something--I was thinking a child's hand. The next things kind of happened fast--I assume that I tried to get off the child's hand (that I assumed I was on) as fast as possible, and the next thing I knew I was on the industrial-carpet-with-nothing-under-it-but-concrete floor. I started hurting in several places after that--completely forgetting then about the sinus pain I was having most of the day. One of my co-workers lent me this little ice bag she had, and while sitting outside with the kids later I put it on each of my sore spots for a while. When I sat down to read a story to the kids, my boss came over and said that she figured I would feel worse tomorrow, and she offered me the option to stay home if I wanted. I took her up on it. So when I got home, I took Angel for a short short walk, fed her, and took a hot shower. I notice that there is pain at the base of my neck that wasn't there before. I am going to take my boss' advice and try to take it easy this weekend. Hope that you all have had a good day/evening/etc. so far in your part of myLot land !
