What If We Receive Both?

On Mylot we earn when we receive a like OR a comment ( response). Do we earn more when we receive a like AND a comment ( response)?

You earn something for all 'interactions' on what you post, whether it's a response, a comment, or a 'like'. The 'OR' is not an exclusive 'OR'.

@Shivram59 That is the way that I read the statement in the Earnings Program FAQs, yes. It isn't clear who gets what from a 'like' to a response or a comment in your discussion. I presume that it's only the person who made the response or comment which gets the like who gets anything.

@owlwings May be.Although I have been on mylot for about two years, but I have yet to understand many things.I raise the questions here and my friends like you and JJ clear my doubts. As I'm told,it is not the person who makes a response or comment, but the one to whom they are addressed- the receiver- who gets paid for them.

@owlwings But if someone likes my post or a response to it,but does not comment on it,then I'm paid only for the like I receive from him.

I always leave a written response if I have read a discussion, I would never just leave a like. I think there is always something I can find to say about a discussion. Sometimes I will also leave a like on a post someone else has left on the discussion if I agree with what is said.

@sprite1950 That's exactly what I do.If I like a discussion,I respond to it.But yes,I rarely "like" a response someone else has left. This is because I lack time.I want to spend as much time here as possible, but my too busy schedule prevents me from doing so.

From what I read is that a like will push your topic to hot discussion while a comment or response will get you paid

@id_peace Sorry,so far as I know, the fact is that we earn every time we receive a like or a response or a comment. But you are right when you say that the number of likes determines the category of the post.
