Termite more!

I knew that the termite infestation isn't done yet. When the flooring from the patio was removed, I just remembered the old stuff on the basement which were also infested.
Sadly, Mom isn't taking this problem seriously and prefers another small band aide solution. We simply don't have the budget for it. Personally, I recommend a full renovation of the ceiling because it won't take long before disaster struck if some one steps on the roof again.
Why am I ranting about this again? Our kitchen door broke down and saw tracks of termites on it
. Same goes in our kitchen drawer.
Another reason why we can't renovate is my relatives are coming and the renovation will take longer than two months.

I think you should have a general termite check and treatment. It will take over the woods... huhuhu.....
we have a yearly termite treatment in our house. Just outside the house in the garage, they drill hole to the ground to put treatment there also

Termites are really disturbing and it affects us badly too. Just a few months ago, my neighbor's house needed to do renovation because of the termites. Hope you'll get it solved soon, and you won't need to worry much about it. Can you get some experts to help out with the termites? Is it less expensive than doing the renovation?

You sounds like my brother talking to my sister. Do have a point. Band aide solutions give you a false sense that you actually fixed the problem right.

Oh no, with termites, you have to be fast. Some places with termite problem, got a whole section of their house down in a few days. Do go buying some chemicals and at least spray or spread the powder around the house or on the area as fast as you could. One of my old neighbors saw some termites in his lounge room, 24 hours later, the floor collapsed.

Hello @YrNemo Well, we got a small spray with chemicals that deals with these termites but the situation has gone worst compare before.
