Hello everyone.
Today, May 3, I attended an activity which I did not actually plan. We were at the mall when I saw this. And having an asthma, this definitely interest me. This is an acitivity by different associations related to asthma and other society together with Astra-Zeneca.
Asthma is a chronic resporatory disease marked by the inflammation of air passages temporarily narrowing the airways that carry oxygen to the lungs.
It is said there that 315million people suffers from asthma globally. And Philippines ranked in the 9th place in asthma mortality rate.
There were free lectures for attendees about different asthma management. According to the doctor, people with severe uncontrolled asthma have eight times higher risk of death and 10 times higher risks of hospital stays.
Do you know anyone who has asthma? How do they manage?

@rakski Now I am fine. I have to take my allergy medicine everyday during the year and I have almost no asthma-like symptoms now.
