Hide and seek

Believe me when you have 3 boys this happens. I don't mean the game you play by hiding I mean losing things, misplacing them like keys, keys and more keys it takes 10 mins to dress up and 30 mins to find the lost key. Key to the door, key to the gate, key to the car. .What a life! Kids know where to find them but not me.
Is anyone in the same boat as I am?

@Peach10 oh no!
I can't say I know the feeling as I don't have any children yet. Maybe one day I can know this feeling but for now all I can do is imagine!

You need not have three boys for that....I have one boy, who luckily got married and staying separately with his wife now! He used to do the same things! For that I have kept a plastic bowl on my fridge and in that we used to keep all the keys and it was a mandatory for every one to place the keys first in the bowl the moment you enter house! Now they are also having a key bowl, that is made of porcelain instead of plastic! Thanks!

my things play hide and seek on me and I don't have kids to either blame or have help finding them.

there are specific places where the key of the car, the key of my brother's house, and the key for the gate are placed.

@Peach10 but be sure too that every key has its own distinct key holder so you won't get lost searching for the keys you want.

It has been a long time since I have had kids at home except for visits, but I do know what you mean. My kids were pretty good, but I ran a home daycare. Shoes were the major thing lost. I had a place for them to be put, but they never were.

Wow a daycare! It means you're good with kids!
Good only shoes are missing!

I can understand the predicament.
Perhaps, you can make up a game with your boys like 'Help Mom Find The Keys'?

@Peach10 You know, I follow what was shared by a batchmate. Those 50 and above should do this upon waking up in the morning or even after a bath. Stick out your tongue and sway the tongue while sticking out from side to side . This helps prevent alzheimer's amongst other things.
I do this every morning and I feel that my mind has sharpened.

I remember what it was like when the kids were little. We stopped missing the keys buy putting a board with hooks up higher than the children and all our keys went there. My children are grown but the board is still holding our keys. We automatically pop our keys on that board.
