Worse than this, drivers behind the wheel of a vehicle, with a cell phone on their ear. Is their mind on their driving? Nope.

@JohnRoberts You are right! I've seen drivers many times, gabbing on a cell phone! It should be outlawed, as texting has been clamped down on. My daughter totaled out a car, going 75 MPH on the Interstate highway texting! Usually that road is packed with other vehicles. That day, she had both lanes to herself, as she skid from one side to the other. No other cars were involved, which probably saved her life and possibly someone else's

They give tickets here in the district for that!!! More accidents occur from that than drunk driving!!!!!

I hate that! It used to be one only had that problem at home on a landline. The only thing worse is when you are in a line for customer service in a business and their phone keeps ringing and they keep talking to people who are on the phone with problems before they talk to you, who is physically there.

@db20747 I agree. I think customers in the store should get priority over those who didn't go to the effort to come in.

@db20747 That is very annoying. Why don't they just ask if they can call them later and say sorry and continue the conversation and turn off their phone.

@db20747 I just stare at them or shake my head when I say something if they just stand still right in front of me.

If it was very important I can understand taking the call but most times it can go to voicemail I think when your having a conversation with someone.

I do not take calls when I am in conversation with someone. And yes I hate it if the person I am talking to is continuously on phone. I usually then excuse myself and get away.
