Who Is your Favorite??

Today is Teacher Appreciation Day!! I was listening to the radio today and it was open lines for questions or comments about their favorite teacher. I then thought, "hey this would be a great mylot post!" So, I thought about it and of course if you've read my post about my art teacher, which was my first class of the day, you have already heard this story. She was one of those bubbly teachers!! She would greet every student with a "Good morning!" One day, one of the the students asked "What was so good about it?" The teacher responded, " It's a good day when you can read the newspaper's and your name isn't in the obituary!" I think that is something to really think about when one is having a bad day. You should be thankful that you're having a "bad" day, there is the alternative. Then there was an English teacher that made an impression on me. She (at the time seemed to be 100) wore leopard printed mini skirts and had glasses on a chain that she wore around her neck. When people would ask ,"Can I ....?" She would respond back, "I don't know, "can" you?" She wouldn't let anyone do anything until they asked, "May I do.....?" I even used that with my own children!! Then there was the memorable teacher who had a nervous breakdown in class!! So my fellow mylotters in honor of teachers every where, do you have a favorite teacher and why?
