The two songs were a big hit and the single stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for fourteen weeks. The Song of the Year was “Change the World” by Eric Clapton. The song also won Record of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. The best song of this year was “Around the World” by Daft Punk, who are a French electronic music duo.
