Life is like a story.

You have your beginning when you are born. You have the middle of the story when you are grewing up and living your life. The story can go anyway that you want it to. You control how it goes and you can write the ending to the story by what you do in your story. Life is what you make up it and you get out of your life what you put into it. So how is your story going. Good I hope.

No, life is not always what we make, unfortunately sometimes is what the destiny imposes to us.

So far it has been a beautiful ride... I know a bit later in my on-going story, there will be more challenges that I will meet... but so far so good... :) Thank you...

Not always. Sigh. If somebody kills your parent, you can't say I am going to ignore that.

I agree, life is like a story. You get out of it, what you put into it.

So far, it's better. I can't say it's good because there are days that I'm not good. Yes, we made our own story. Life is our own story. We are the one who makes them.

Shakespeare said it like this in the play 'As You Like It': "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slippered pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on side; His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice, Turning again toward childish treble, pipes And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything."
