Time To Get Off Of Here and Go Work on My Book

I started writing a new novel recently. The story has been living in my head for quite a while, and I've mainly just been writing bits and pieces here and there up until now, but I feel it's time to get serious about getting this story down on paper. I've drafted an outline and written the first chapter and part of the third chapter (which I originally intended to be the first,) and tonight I'm hoping to knock out the second chapter. (Sometimes I tend to write out of order.) This is the first time I'm attempting to follow an outline for a book, so we'll see if it makes it easier or harder than just winging it. Anyway, I guess I'd better get off of here and go get to work. I just downed a large triple mocha frappuccino and am feeling as alert as I'm probably going to get, haha. So I'd better take advantage of my alertness and actually get some work done.
