Goodnight to Sleep

I can't sleep. Can't close my eyes.
no Z's in my future.
I can't rest. Can't stop my thoughts.
no dreams in the future.
Where's my pillow? My heads heavy.
comfort escapes me.
Where's my sheets? My limbs lazy.
comfort not with me.
Nighttime mocks. Teases my senses.
laughing as I turn.
Nighttime frowns. Teases my saneness.
laughing as eyes turn.
Whispers singing. Calm stillness speaks.
soothe chill in the air.
Whispers drowning. Calm snoreing wins.
soothe hums fill the air.
