Hubby had a doctor's appointment at about 1 p.m. to determine if the treatment from Monday was effective, and it was. They decided there was another problem. I will not go into any more details. They compromised on the solution. Meanwhile, he had called me. I had been to herbal class. He came home and took a nap, and I made us both herbal iced tea. Full of many yummy things. I used Celestial Seasonings Sunny Peach, and Lemon Balm and Nettles I had purchased, all in one combination. The problem the doctor thought he had has already resolved itself. It is amazing what some extra rest and good healthy tea will do. We will both be drinking herbal teas all summer long. We decided to get a good night's sleep here at home and to go to Oklahoma in the morning. It is all good. Time for bed.

Doctors in the US are in the business of looking for illness and sometimes get in a hurry, when a little time and some gentle rest will do wonders..

That seems to be how life is for us lately. It seems to be okay now, though.

I have a tea cup I got for Christmas, you put the loose leaf tea in a litlte fish that hangs from the lid of the cup, that allows the tea to steep. I've only used it a time or two, but I'd like to get more loose leaf teas to use with it. I go with Traditional Medicinals teas. I picked up A traditional medicinal instead of celestial seasonings one day and haven't gone back. I was watching a video from one of my favorite vloggers on youtube, they live in Oklahoma now. They went to tour Ree Drummond's lodge. I also got to see the beautiful landscape around the area. It's better to be well rested before starting a journey.

@ScribbledAdNauseum When I first bought Tazo I had not realized it was a Starbucks product. It is rich in flavor. I try these different brands when I get coupons on Swagbucks or myPoints or on my Dillons/Kroger card. Even better in all the spots that I can stack them.

Your cup sounds quite cute. Actually we used loose dried nettles, and dried lemon balm. I use many brands of teas and have some Traditional Medicinals in my cupboard. I also like Tazo teas, and Stash. I want to harvest my own herbs to use as I can.

@GardenGerty I've not tried tazo or stash, but I've had yogi teas. I don't think I could keep herbs going, but I wouldn't mind growing tomatoes or berries.

I'm glad herbal tea works for you. I often drink herbal tea, too. Sometimes I put some roses or dandelion or chrysanthemum.

It's goo to hear that your husband is getting better and you two are enjoying your life. There are few good results of herbal tea provided you have the right combination of herbs and you like the aroma. We prepare our own herbal tea but don't drink it regularly! All the best.

I think we will drink more herbal teas in the future. They have wonderful flavor and are much healthier than soda pop.
