RACEcar!

Good morning on a sunny Tuesday, everyone, how is life? In between mylotting, I am also watching TV- game 4 between the Cavaliers and Celtics, and this action movie from our community channel. It is about a couple where the girl was killed in front of the boy and he is seeking revenge by joining the military. It stars Michael Keaton and the antagonist is Taylor Kitsch. There are many car chases, and suddenly I thought about this word--- race car! If you read the word race car, and again read it backwards, it is still race car. While getting stressed means getting dessert, I think “rats live on no evil star” is the better phrase. Do you know other words that mean the same thing even when read backwards?

Good evening hija. Yes the race car is also race car when read backwards and the letters are not like civic or level. There is a twist but it is uttered the same.

Yes, and I liked Keaton when he played the role of Batman. He is a good actor but you will also hate him as an antagonist

Me too. I am aware of many English words like that but knowing the real term is new knowledge for me

I know some Italian words that are identical even when read backwards, my name is an example (ANNA), the number eight in Italian is OTTO. Those words are called "Palindrome". Some English words are: noon, civic, radar, level, rotor, kayak, madam, and refer.

Yes if we find it interesting but some are not into the English vocabulary so they might just shrug it off.

Those types of words are called Palindromes. A few more are "Madam", "Refer", "level", "Deified" and "Kayak".
