Chinese ginseng herbal soup

After smelling my neighbour soup a few days ago, I had decided to do a chinese ginseng chicken soup for dinner today since I am off.
First you will need to wash the herbs, then put them into the pot and start to brew it. Next clean the chicken, then put the chicken into the soup and boil for another 45 minutes before you add favour.
Rehearsal the soup when you are about to drink it.
The soup herb taste was strong but the trouble is that I had been overly generous with the salt resulting in my soup been a bit too salty
