I Sense Eyes

There's many times when I get the feeling that someone or something is looking at me. That there's a set of eyes on me fixated to my every move. As if it's waiting for me to do something out of the ordinary as an excuse to question me. When I go to any store, I know that there are security cameras keeping a vigilant set of eyes on me as I go from aisle to aisle. Then there's always that "fellow" shopper that I seem to keep running into no matter what. Until I acknowledge their existence with a nod of my head or a simple, "Excuse me, I need to get around you." Even out in open I feel as if someone is behind a wall, hiding in a tree or sitting in a car just glareing at me. Detailing every step and place I visit. Who knows if that bird in the sky is really a bird nowadays. Or if the dog wearing a gopro wasn't meant to follow you. There is no such thing as freedom of movement anymore. There's always something recording your movement and location. Security camera's, store loss prevention/security, cell phones taking videos or pictures, GPS, traffic cams, drones, your own computer. . . lots of things keeping tabs on you! (Judas Priest had it right with their song, "Electric Eye.") Paranoia? No, I don't think so. To me it's just a realization of the modern day surroundings in my "free" world environment. Big brother is not a family member I want to be associated with. Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

Uhhh... you do realize you are over-thinking this, right? Nobody needs to follow you, watching your every move. Department stores no longer use active cameras to deter theft. Drones no longer hover above you hoping to catch you unawares, just as the police no longer bother checking on your every action. (They can manufacture any "evidence" they feel they need to secure your prosecution.) It is possible a few people still buy and use security cameras... but only because they don't understand how to use the tech they already own. All that spy stuff is now built into that little phone you carry around. It is hard-wired in and has a new generation of programming that keeps even the tech savvy from shutting it down or fooling it... Face it, Plethos, it isn't paranoia when even your thoughts are monitored! (grinning at you but not joking at all)

@Kandae11 Oh, really? (grinning at you) I have several I would be more than happy to sell to you... You might want to think a bit more before you buy one, though. The older dumb phones can't use 3 and 4 G towers. All the 1 and 2 G towers were shut down at the end of 2016.

If I felt that way I too would feel strange. We have a new thing here in Latvia. Camera drones have become popular and occasionally you will hear a buzzing and it is not a fly or bee but a camera drone going What they take photos of I don't know and I don't care as long as I am not in any of the photos. I just sold my house and I am waiting for the final papers. Before I sold the house the real estate company was giving an open house and before that there were two times that drones flew over my property talking about people watching you.

real estate people here use them to take overhead photos and aerial video to show the clients over the internet, especially if they have a web site.

I feel that way every time I open my laptop or smart phone. Good thing I am always well dressed - except in the bathroom , but my laptop isn't taken there.

Uhhh... the phone/computer/tablet manufacturers added x-ray imaging to our electronic devices over ten years ago, Kandase... You aren't as safe as you hoped you were. Uhm... I hope it is okay for me to tell you that you look good, no matter what you're wearing. (grinning at you) And yes, I saw you put your phone face down on the table.

You would hate my dog Kai then. She has a staring problem, But yeah camera's are everywhere, everyone wants your email and phone number. It is why I wonder why we even need ID anymore. Hell you guys have it all on file and know more about me than I know about me. You tell me if I am 21 and an American citizen.

It's funny that you say this. I feel the exact same way, and as CRAZY as it would sound to anybody but you, there actually HAS been a drone that floats in the sky by my house that is watching my boyfriend and I. The first night (that's the only time it's visible, but you can't see it itself, just the bright light it shines) that I saw it I thought it was either a falling star/planet, a plane possibly crashing down, or the most ridiculous- aliens. That's how precise and noticeable the movement of this light was. Who knows maybe it is aliens. Whatever it is it is FOR SURE something floating in the sky that is fixated on us. For hours I stared at it, while for the first few trying to convince my boyfriend I wasn't "tripping" and I really was seeing something that really was moving and floating in the air. Finally he gave in and started watching it with me and all the while he was trying to explain it's nothing, until I made a move. I flipped whatever this thing was off, (gave it the middle finger)...and it took off FAST as hell in the direction away from us. It kept going until it was out of sight, and then at first slowly.... but then gradually faster and faster back our direction until it was eventually REALLY close. The look on my boyfriends face was indescribable as he was completely shocked and understandably scared as was I. I don't know what this thing is or what it wants, but whether illogical or logical of an explanation the fact is it's still something that I believe can obviously see me wherever and whenever it wants to. Long before this even started happening... like my whole life's worth of long-ness (lol), I've always felt like I was being watched by who knows what. I feel like something or someone can just see me all the time and anytime I do something embarrassing, I look all around and feel shameful as if whatever I did had been broadcasted to an invisible audience that exists somewhere in the world that is solely focused on me. The worlds crazy and nobody truly has the answers to everything... possibly anything really if you think about it. The universe is far more vast than what we think we know based upon years and years of so called evidence and logic. You just gotta put the "screw it" cap on and roll with the madness all while trying to stay sane. I agree with you 100% on this feeling!

id report the drone to the cops, you cant spy on people . then id try to shoot it out of the sky with a air rifle or a slingshot. have your bf sneak beneath it and see where it heads back to.
