National donut day

Happy Friday! Today is National donut day! This happens every June First and is celebrated on the first June Friday. This is done in celebration to women in services. In 1938 Salvation Army started it for women Soldiers one war world 1.
So very interesting!
We didn’t get donates today. Well we haven gotten donuts since Febuary. Hopefully if you like donuts you get one or get one soon!

@Jessabuma because they are not gluten free. I haven’t to make donuts when my little one wants them. He is allergic to wheat.

@mlgen1037 I’m still learning how make good donuts that are wheat free. Rice flour is way different then wheat flour so it can be tricky.

Yes a lot of food holidays donta just that we don’t really celebrate them. But I do like the donut day is for women in services that is very nice.

Right now before our holiday of Hannuka we have lots of donuts around because that is part of our holiday to eat donuts. Other times on certain days one can find them too.

I like donuts just that it has too much sugar for me... hoping for sugar free ones in the future. Safeway has donuts for just 50 cents this sale till Tuesday June 5th. Happy Donut Day!

We love donuts but we can’t have them unless we make them ourselves because it needs to be gluten free. I’ve done an Apple donuts.
