Where's The Peanut Butter Cookie Recipes?

This is crazy... I have so many cookbooks, some of you would probably slap me. However... So far... Not one of them has a peanut butter cookie recipe in it. I mean... Even the cookbook: "How To Cook Everything", does not have a peanut butter cookie recipe. I guess I need to write the author, and tell them that this book does not have "everything" in it. LOL What happened to the classic peanut butter cookie recipe we used to find in cookbooks? Now we have to go to the internet to get one. I love cookbooks, so I can get new ideas. But I haven't made these cookies in so long, I needed a recipe. I thought it would be a no brainier to go to my cookbooks, but I could not find one blasted one. Now I have to Google it. So strange...

You'd think every cook book would have a recipe for pb cookies! My fave is one egg, one cup pb, one cup sugar, and one tsp vanilla extract. Gluten free snd yummy.

Thanks. You don't need self rising flour to make them rise? Someone told me that you did...

@teresatrotter I've used recipes that used flour, but I like this recipe better.

Hi Teresa and it takes so much time too because you will have to open the laptop or pc and that takes a minutes, unlike a cookbook, you can open it and browse thru it.
