Can you explain this anomaly?

Hello friends. In this post, I want to discuss a pretty weird anomaly that I personally noticed regarding google maps. For this discussion, I selected an area close to the region where I currently live and took two screen shots of that location. One of the screen shots is from my laptop device (the one on the left side of the red line seen in the image) and the other one is from my iphone device (the one seen on the right side of the red line in this image). As you can see, I have encircled the area where the Park Lake shopping center should be. The anomaly is that the image on the left side of the red line (which is what google maps from my laptop device is displaying) is not the same as the one from the right side of the red line (which is what my iphone's google maps app is displaying). As you can see the image taken from my laptop device of that area is older and poorer quality than the image taken from my iphone device. In the image taken from my laptop the mall was not even built yet but on the image taken from my iphone you can see that the mall is built which means that it is a more recent pic. Thing is that this anomaly did not first occur between my phone and my laptop but I first noticed it on two computers from the previous working place I had a while ago. On the computer that I was working on, the image that the google maps was showing was the more recent one containing the Park Lake mall but on the computer that one of my colleagues was using the google maps was showing the older image that my laptop device is also displaying in this post where the mall is not yet built and the image has a poorer quality. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?
