It is once again a sunny Friday morning on this side of the planet, my friends, and a weather disturbance is expected to make its landfall in the northernmost town of my province. My kid brother who is there for a 3-day seminar of his office posted picture of the ‘flying umbrellas’ in the hotel where he and his companions are billetted.
Sweating really helped. In my previous discussion, I mentioned about my left foot getting the edema or fluid accumulation. When I drove the car this morning with my sister for some errands, I had profuse sweating because it is already hot at 33 degrees Celsius. I always have a bottle of cold water to drink so I kept on drinking to avoid dehydration.
When we arrived home, I felt lightness in my left leg. I immediately pressed my index finger on my left ankle and the fluid accumulation is gone.
Aside from my driving activity (I would push the brakes of the car with my left foot), the sweating helped. Insensible loss in the form of sweat removes the salt off our system.
Do you like to sweat?

really? do you prefer to wipe your sweat off, or stay near the AC or fan so you won't sweat at all?

@YrNemo but do you fan yourself then if you are walking outside? maybe wearing a hat will help reduce the hotness on the top of our head.

@ridingbet I changed my top completely the moment I could, it was awful! (only happened when I was walking in the heat.)

Good morning po. Yes, I do because it is one way of losing weight and releasing toxins in the body.

yes hija, and it is also better if we drink after a sweating activity like the exercises.

it can make us more refreshed with the removal of salts, but at the same time, we have to replace it by drinking fluids

of course too much sweating is never good if we do not replace the lost electrolytes that go with the insensible loss. potassium and sodium electrolytes most especially are excreted via the sweat. that is why a piece of banana and liberal amount of fluids to replace these electrolytes are necessary.

Sweating helps me feel energetic and lively. I guess maybe because toxins from our body are coming out because of perspiration.

that is true. my sweating this morning eventually reduced the left pedal edema that i had. the salt in my system was out with the sweat

I don't like to sweat, although on an extremely hot day sweating does help cool me down if there is a slight breeze.

it is a relief if we feel the cool breeze after a hot sweaty day. sometimes here in my place, after that very sweltering day, the skies get gloomy then the cool wind blows. the sweat may dry up.

@ridingbet I keep a towel beside me and it's usually soaked by the time the sun goes down.
I have to drink lots of water or gatorade.

yes, sweating while exercising is nice because the force exerted in our muscles may produce the sweat. sweat in a hot weather is also needed because the excess salt in our body will be eliminated.
in such case, do you prefer staying near your AC or near your fan to avoid sweating?
