Sleep is a hard time coming

Ever since I went onto overnights. I go through strange sleep patterns. When I first started 25 years ago I would get off work on Friday morning and sleep for 24 hour straight. Now I'm on a 4 hour sleep pattern. Meaning if I get 4 hours of sleep I do pretty good but that is only on the nights I work on my nights off for the past couple of weeks I either sleep all day or am tossing and turning trying to sleep. And then when I start back to work all I want is to go take a nap. And that's not a good thing to do in the work place.
