How can we move on after a rejection by partner

Well,some relationships hit the bottom and scatter and it either one move on or get stucked which I always prefer the former.How can one move on maybe immediately after a rejection?

Try to make yourself busy, and show him / her that your life goes on without him/ her.

I am a resilient person. I bounce back easily when i get hurt so moving on is not really a problem to me.
