About our lawnmower

Sid the mechanic drove over and got our riding lawn mower, with his trailer.
He fixed a very minor problem, some stuff had gotten into the key switch.
Oh, and he found and removed a snake.
I was glad to hear he took it to a field behind his house. I would not want to find it in the mower, but I like them around, eating mice and rats.
He will deliver it this afternoon.
For all of that he will charge us twenty dollars.
We had thunderstorms last night. I am having a tooth pulled today.
We probably will just go park it in the shed for the day.
My image is from an online listing of Kansas snakes.

Hi Heather. Your lawnmower did not work properly because there was a snake?

No, because of the switch for the key. The snake was just a bonus.

@GardenGerty I see. I think there was also a purpose why it broke. You will not know that there is also a snake lurking. I am glad that it is fixed now.

I do not mind having them around. I have had no mice since I moved here. A lot of people are scared of them, but they do not bother me.

@DesirousDreamer I never really see them, or at least I seldom see them.

@GardenGerty Haha if my mom wasn't scared of snakes it would be handy to have one around here since the cats can't get to them. I love snakse.

I'm surprised the snake got into the mower. There are rat snakes on Guam as well. They always got into the power transmitters. When they did, the entire island went black. It was quite an experience to see a view of the island without lights at night.

It probably was sheltering from the heat. I had a friend who got lizards in her televisions, etc. in Hawaii. Not a good thing. Here in Kansas we periodically have squirrels that get in transformers. Not good for us or the squirrels.

Sunday my mother and I was returning from getting groceries and she saw a black snake crossing the road. She went back to the spot to make sure no one ran over it. It made it to the side of the road.

We have done that here. There is a big open field in front of us. I know there are a lot of snakes, I really do not mind.
