Why newbies does not last?

After my few months here, I came to realised and profile the newbies and came out with a few theories why newbies does not last.
1. Newbies has too high an ego to go to others threads and interact. To them, it is me, me and me.
2. Newbies get rude. They cannot accept other alternatives views and get rude.
3. They climax too soon. 50 posts a day or more than they climaxed then. Unable to get the same momentuem after that.
4. Not able to get the first payout in the first month and discouraged by it after that.

That sounds about right. I remember when I first joined, in 2006 I took several days just to look around. I think it made a good base for me. Many newbies just KNOW they will make their fortune and post such enlightened multiple discussions. One or two good discussions a day is sufficient. I have been here two and a half hours and have yet to start a discussion.

I think I will last. He he, maybe some newbie thinks they can pay out overnight. But for I just look for money as bonuses, I love exchanging thoughts with others and making friends with them.

They do not last because most of them have not at all understood how this site works. You do not earn for posting, you earn if the others interact with you. They are too busy posting and they do not interact with the others, so they cannot expect that the others interact with them.

Hi Ultraman. I have witnessed them all. Those who has a factory of ideas and post more than 10 discussions a day, the know-it-all types. the not so nice and those who think hardwork is just a theory. hahaha

Yes, I think they have unrealistic expectations and don't really realize the way the site works. I always tell people if they ask how they can make money here..that it is more important to comment on others posts than to make them.

I think that they just don't bother reading the guidelines and then complain that the site doesn't work for them.

i agree. they think this site will immediately pay them with posting many discussions without active interaction from others. they have pride because they think highly of themselves.

Most think they can get rich quick which isn't the case here. And also, it is very intimidating here. Though people don't mean to me, we have a lot of older folks who are wise but also have been here for ages. When you see someone who has been here for years, it is pretty crazy.

I agree with you. We cannot be rich with the money here but we can use the money to invest to make money

I think some people simply think there is some secret path to serious free money. When they realize that the money they get here is not enough to consider it a 'job,' they leave looking for the next free money path. Unfortunately they will never find it. As I always say about sites like this, the idea is to have fun first and make a little money second. While the money is not life changing, it's nice to get at least a little something for having fun.
