Have you ever had an Irish Trashcan?

Neither have I, though I did consider it. I chose the Liquid Mary Jane instead because I knew what it tasted like and liked it. If you are wondering what I am talking about, it's mixed drinks. I don't drink very often, most of the time it's socially that I drink.
I went to eat at another Mexican Restaurant that I've never tried before. Have you heard of Los Toritos? You might have if you live in or have been to California, Arizona or North Carolina. There may be other States that have this chain as well, but I'm not aware of them if there are.
The menu was pretty expansive but I like to go with something I am used to the first time I order somewhere. I went with The Guadalajara which is lots of food. One Tamal, Two Taquitos, a Salad, Rice, Shredded Chicken and Beef. It's a pretty big meal which means I can eat half there and save the other half for when I am hungry next.
It didn't disappoint. Reviews of the restaurant state that there food is very well seasoned and I have to agree. The beef was seasoned differently than I am used to in other Guadalajara Specials but it was very delicious.
I will have to write a positive Yelp Review. The place was somewhat empty but it being Sunday and Father's Day at that, I imagine most people are grilling out.
Oh and for those curious, I'll link to the recipe for an Irish Trash Can.
You'll have to find the link for Los Toritos on your own.

I am not too adventurous when it comes to some things. I don't think I've ever had gin, for instance.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I like gin, not alone, but gin and tonic, or gin fizz or a gin Martini are all drinks I like time by time (with moderation.)

@ScribbledAdNauseum I like some cocktails, but I would never mix gin vodka and light gin, I can only image a trashy taste, even worse after you add the triple sec.

The mixed drink I had today was one that a friend introduced to me. I had never had it before then and had never heard of it either. It tastes very fruity. I think the Irish Trash Can would probably taste a little sour.

@rakski Yes I l like a little bit of sour but not too much. Fruity is more fun.

I could probably count on one hand the drinks I have had in my life, even if you include accidentally at a wedding.

I only drank once the entirety of my marriage. I socially drink now. When I go to a Mexican restaurant or when I am at a friend's house. Both of which are maybe once every three months.
I've had family who imbibed too much so I purposely choose not to buy drinks to consume here.

I don't know that I will ever try it. I went back to the restaurant that serves it and got the same thing I did the last time.

I feel like I've heard of it (the drink) or something similar.
The location I went to has only been around for less than a year. It seemed popular enough quite a bit of people were picking up to go orders.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I've heard of an Irish Car Bomb. I think that is Jameson and Baileys dropped into some Guinness.

@NJChicaa Apparently it goes by Irish Slammer or Irish Bomb shot as well.

One of two things, I think.
One, they will think I meant Irish and make the Irish Trash Can.
OR
Two, they will tell me they can't make.
OR, (bonus)
They will ask me what the ingredients are and attempt to make it.
I think it's more likely the first two, the third would probably happen at a proper bar though.

Yes but I've heard Cali does some good Tex Mex type food. Has good spins / flair on the food they have.

The Irish bar down here makes that.

I haven't been to our local Irish pubs in awhile. I am more of a drink at the restaurant type girl than a go to a bar type girl.
